PURPOSE: To shorten a printing time by providing the title device with a register storing the printing start and printing end picture addresses of display information to be printed out and by setting up picture address information in the register by an input means to print out necessary information.

CONSTITUTION: When a light pen 13 is contacted the D and Z positions of a CRT12, positional data 3-0, 4-10 are outputted and stored in a printing position counter 5 as the leading and trailing printing addresses respectively. When a printing control circuit 8 detects the writing of these addresses, the circuit 8 sets up the leading printing address in the counter 6 to send the printing position address to a storage device 7 through a display refresh address in a beam position counter 4 and a multiplexer 6 during the time other than a display time. The printing position address is printed out by a printer 9 through a printing control circuit 8. When a counted value coincides with the final address, the counter 5 sends a printing stop signal to the circuit 8 to stop the printing.
