PURPOSE: The titled detector in which a bobbin detector is set so that it can move to the detecting position between bobbin holding and releasing operations and the detector is made to work according to the movement, thus knowing automatically the state of bobbins whether to be held or released.
CONSTITUTION: A piston 17 as a bobbin detector is energized at the standing position with a spring 20 and is made to move to the position for detecting bobbin holding or the position for detecting bobbin releasing in the bobbin holding area T at the period between operations of setting a bobbin to the ring 4 and holding it and operation of releasing the bobbin by feeding air into the air cylinder 12. The magnet 21 of each piston 17 corresponds to A1WAn or B1W Bn to operate relay X1 for holding bobbins or relay X2 for releasing bobbins.
