PURPOSE: To make connections with external head connection terminals with short wiring length by providing electrode terminals on the surface of a 1st magnetic core nearly parallel to the support surface of a head base.

CONSTITUTION: Couples of lead-out lines 15 - 18 are formed in groove parts formed in the same surface as the joined surface of the 1st magnetic core 11 or on the same surface as the joined surface and one-terminal sides of those lead-out lines 15 - 18 are connected to a thin film coil 14; and the other-terminal sides are extended to the surface of the 1st magnetic core 11 which is nearly parallel to the support surface of the head base 21 and used as the electrode terminals 19 and 20. Therefore, when a head chip is fitted to the head base 21, heat connection terminals 23 and 24 on a terminal plate 22 fitted to the head base 21 as well and the electrode terminals 19 and 20 of the head chip are positioned almost on nearly parallel surfaces. Consequently, the connections with the external head terminals 23 and 24 can be made by an easy method which requires no complicate process and the wiring length is irreducible minimum length.
