Title:
FUEL INJECTION CONTROL METHOD OF ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED DIESEL ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58138236
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce an acceleration shock under acceleration in a manual transmission car by increasing the fuel by stages from the acceleration time at a predetermined increasing rate up to the injection quantity goal for the fuel injection control under acceleration.

CONSTITUTION: The injection quantity is controlled by a control unit 3. That is, the preceding fuel injection quantity QI-1 is compared with the present fuel injection quantity QI calculated from individual data, and if QI>QI-1, the state is judged as an acceleration, and an augmentation step value α previously determined in accordance with various engine characteristics is added to the preceding injection quantitity QI-1, thus implying QI-1+α as one injection quantity Q'I-1 to be injected multiple times until the injection quantity goal QI is attained, and an amount of α is augmented for every injection as far as QI>Q'I-1. QI stored in an RAM 33 is converted into a control output VAPP for a D/A converter 39, and a linear solenoid 22 is moved by a predetermined amount based on this output, thus moving a spill ring 21.
