Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent stress corrosion crack by means of a simple structure and improve reliability of a rotor by providing a device which supplies steam from gland seal steam supply device of a steam turbine to a turbine part with possibility of occurrence of said crack. CONSTITUTION:An evaporator 30, which heats condensate from a condensate reservoir 33 by means of the steam coming from a nuclear reactor 20 and a bleeding pipe 37 and supplies the steam of the condensate to a gland seal steam supply device 29, is put in communication with a part (disk part of a shrinkage fit type turbine rotor), with possibility of occurence of a stress corrosion crack on a low pressure steam turbine 25, through an orifice 42 and a valve 43. Clear and dry steam from the evaporator 30, after being throttled by means of the orifice 42 for further reduction of moisture, is supplied to the disk part of the rotor, therefore, reliability of the rotor may be enhanced while being set in the circumstance hardly allowing occurrence of stress corrosion crack. Further, utilization of the evaporator of a gland seal steam supply device can eliminate the requirement for a new evaporator, offering an economical situation.
