PURPOSE: To simplify the package-driving mechanism, to reduce the size and weight of the driving device, and to enable the sure holding of a bobbin holder to stationary state with a magnet having weak attractive force, by rotating the package with a turbine.

CONSTITUTION: The turbine 39 furnished with turbine blades 39a at the circumference is attached integrally to the bottom of the bobbin holder 28, and is rotated by compressed air blasted from the nozzle 40 of the air chamber 18. A magnet 23 is fixed to the inner surface of the air chamber 18, and the magnet 24 to hold the bobbin holder 17 constantly at a stationary state is attached to the frame 3 using a bracket 25. Compressed air is blasted through the nozzle 40 along the direction to rotate the package P to the same direction (the arrow R) as the spindle 2, and the bobbin holder 17 is applied with the force acting along the arrow S. Accordingly, the bobbin holder 17 can be held surely to a stationary state even if the attracting force between the magnets 23, 24 is weak.
