PURPOSE: To obtain a camera device for monitoring which monitors crimes, etc. by providing a controller and a power source device which operate an instant camera by preassigned times, controlling the same remotely and latching the removing port for the photographed film.

CONSTITUTION: A camera device 1 for monitoring is provided with an instant camera 2, a controller 3, a switch 4 and a power source 5. The camera 2 contains a motor drive and an automatic exposure mechanism, and is connected to the controller 3. The controller 3 controls the camera to shoot by preassigned photographing times. The power source 5 is connected to the controller 3. As the source 5, a commercial power source is transformed to, for example, 12V by using a transformer 6 or batteries are used. The switch 4 is in a position remote from the camera 2 and transmits a signal for starting driving to the controller. A film container 8 is hinged 7 to the housing of the camera 2. The container 8 is a cylindrical body having a space for contg. photographed films 9 and is open only in one end part 11. The controller 3 and the housing of the camera 2 are latched by a lock 13.
