Title:
DEFLECTION YOKE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5834549
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce a ringing stripe and misconvergence furthermore in an in- line system color cathode-ray tube by connecting each resistor in parallel between a connecting point provided almost at the center of a coil and its winding start and end points.

CONSTITUTION: As shown in Figure (a), each resonance circuit can be damped by connecting in parallel each of damping resistors 18 and 17 between the middle point F0 of the vertical deflecttor coils L10 and L20 and winding start points A and between said point F0 and winding end point B respectively. As a result, it is clear that resonance current I10 and I20 are reduced by the horizontal pulse voltages e10 and e20. In the circuit configuration shown in Figure (a), the horizontal pulse voltages e10 and e20 are equal. The horizontal pulse voltage waveform for this case is as shown in Figure (b), and ringing RG can be reduced approximately by 20 to 40 dB as compared with the conventional one.
