PURPOSE: To prevent a front under cover from damage by flection even if its extension member interferes with a road surface, by substantially increasing the length of a part corresponding to a flange of the front under cover so as to cause a radiator to provide a larger amount of air allowed to pass therethrough.
CONSTITUTION: An extension member 12 consisting of elastic material such as rubber is successively provided to the rear end terminal of a front under cover 11 made of iron or synthetic resin covering the bottom part of an engine compartment E. This extension member 12, being extended in a downward direction toward the rear of a vehicle, is mounted to the front under cover 11 by a fastener 13. The front under cover 11 forms so as to protrude not its rear end terminal but the extension member 12 only to a road surface interference zone Z.
