Abstract:
In an under-nut housing for purely acoustical plucked instruments, such as guitars with the old, traditional top-mounted string design, the under-nut blade is displaceably arranged, for the purposes of the joint mensuration of the strings, on a positioning surface of the string holder and, because of the mounting geometry, is mounted so as to be secured by the friction of the strings against independent displacement.
