Abstract:
PURPOSE:To relieve shock likely to arise at the time of shift to No.1 speed position by providing separately No.2 shift-down speed change line, for the purpose of judging the speed change into No.1 speed, for a memory speed-change line, which is to judge the shift-down by reference to the number of revolution signal and load signal. CONSTITUTION:Signals from an engine load sensor 207 and a sensor 209 to sense the number of revolutions of the output shaft of a torque converter are fed in an electronic control circuit 200, and if a shift-down is judged by reference to the speed-change line entered previously in an RAM202 a shift-Down signal is emitted to control an electromagnetic means for a fluid operated actuator, and thus automatic shift-down is conducted. As said two speed-change lines are provided: No.1 shift-down speed change line to shift into any other position than No.1 speed and No.2 shift-down speed change line to shift into No.1 position, which is situated on the low turbine rotation side of torque converter being lower than the above. Accordingly shocks likely to arise at the time of shifting- down to No.1 speed position can be relieved.
