Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an exhaust gas purifying device with a simple structure by connecting a purifying device equipped with a filter in itself to the exhaust pipe of an internal-combustion engine, jetting water from a storage tank to an exhaust gas passage, and returning the recovered effluent to the storage tank after filtrating it. CONSTITUTION:A purifying device A equipped with a filter 3 in itself is connected to an exhaust pipe 4, and an injection nozzle 6 is provided in air exhaust gas passage. Dust and detrimental matter in exhaust gas are allowed to be absorbed by the filter by injecting the purifying water from a storage tank 5 and evaporating said water by making use of exhaust heat and allowing exhaust gas and vapor to make contact with each other. A fluid fraction collected on the bottom part of the purifying device A and a fluid fraction of the fluid collector 8 of the exhaust pipe 7 are, after filtrating them through a fluid filter 9, returned to the storage tank 12 by means of a pump 12. Since the purifying water is evaporated in this way by making use of exhaust gas itself, the purifying device is simple in its structure, and it is not required to always supply the purifying water since it is circulated.
