PURPOSE: To effectively utilize the sensible heat of hot stove in exhausting pressure, by a method wherein the residual hot blast in hot stove is conducted into other burning hot stoves and at the same time the temperature increase of brick-wall supporting shelf induced into stove is controlled in exhausting pressure before starting the combustion of hot stove.

CONSTITUTION: The residual hot blast in hot stove A is blown into a hot stove C from the upper part of regenerative chamber 2C through the injection pipe 14c and injection valve 11c of hot stove C in combustion process via an exhaust pressure valve 10a, an exhaust pressure pipe 13a and a connection pipe 15. Thus, the temperature of brick-wall supporting shelf of regenerative chamber 2C is increased. Then, when the possibility of exceeding the upper limit of control is generated, the opening and closing of injection valves 11a to 11c and of an emergency exhaust valve 12 are controlled according to said increase of temperature.
