Title:
CONTROL SIGNAL GENERATING CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04117668
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a capacitor by providing a third constant current sources which are connected in parallel with a first constant current sources, and whose currents are smaller than those of the first current sources, and generating control signals based on a compared result obtained after comparing the charged voltage of the capacitor with the reference voltage of the capacitor. CONSTITUTION:This circuit is equipped with first constant current sources 9 and 10 and second constant current sources 31 and 32, which are serially connected, capacitor 12, and third constant current sources 40 and 41 which are connected in parallel with the first constant current sources 9 and 10, and whose currents are smaller than those of the first constant current sources. Then, the charged voltage of the capacitor 12 is compared with the reference voltage of the capacitor 12, and the control signals are generated based on the compared result. Then, when a drop out is not detected, the currents from a transistor 40 pass through a transistor 31, and when the drop out is detected, the currents from a transistor 10 pass through the transistor 31, and the currents from the transistor 40 pass through the capacitor 12 so that the capacitor 12 can be charged. Thus, the capacity of the capacitor 12 can be reduced.
