Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the system by allowing a shift valve to operate to the first and the second switching positions in order to establish the first and the second speed change ratios and the gear trains having the higher speed ratio than the second speed ratio. CONSTITUTION:When the hydraulic pressure in a right-edge chamber 79 becomes smaller than the springy force of a spring 80 in a shift valve V1, a valve piece 77 is set to the first switching position, and when the hydraulic pressure in the right-edge chamber 79 becomes larger than the springy force of the spring 80, the valve piece 77 is set to the second switching position, and when the hydraulic pressure in a right-edge chamber 92 becomes smaller than the springy force of a spring 93, a valve piece 90 is set to the first switching position in a shift valve V2, and when the hydraulic pressure in the right-edge chamber 92 becomes larger than the springy force of the spring 93, the valve piece 90 is set to the second switching position. Therefore, a large number of speed change stages can be controlled by a small number of shift valves in the combination of switching positions. Thus, the system can be simplified.
