Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce labor time for work so as to improve productivity, by using the method of insert molding by a set of metal molds and integrally forming a band brake plate with a fixed element molded by resin. CONSTITUTION:When a band brake is molded, first inserting a band brake plate into grooves 7, both upper and lower metal molds 13, 6 are fitted and forced to be pressed by a predetermined pressure. In this way, a groove 17 in a fixed element molding part 15 forms the molded secured part of a fixed element to the band brake plate in the band brake. While a fixed element molding part 14 is forced to be pressed to an L-shaped resin molded recessed part 22 in a fixed element molded part 8, forming a molded part of L-shaped resin in the fixed element of the band brake. Then the band brake plate is integrally formed with the fixed element molded by resin by means of cooling the both upper and lower metal molds 13, 6 after injecting resin from an injection port 11, thus forming the band brake.
