PURPOSE: To reduce the load of a rotor, by shorten the barrel feeding time and to perform photographing of less time lag by supporting power to the rotor in the reverse direction for a time shorter than the power supply time for driving when the rotor is returned to the initial position at each time of driving of a ratchet mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: When forward power supply to a coil 19a of a rotor 19 is started, the rotor 19 and a barrel driving lever 18 are turned counterclockwise. A pin 18a of the lever 18 is engaged with a notch 5a of a barrel driving plate 5 to slide the plate 5 upward, and a feeding claw 9 is moved upward, and a claw part 9a presses a ratchet 1b of a distance ring to turn the ring clockwise, and a barrel is fed; and after the ring is turned by a prescribed extent, a detaining claw 12 catches the next tooth of the ratchet 1b to detain the ring in the position to which the ring is rotated by an extent corresponding to one tooth. This turning operation is performed within 10ms power supply time to the rotor 19, and next, power is supplied to the rotor 19 in the reverse direction for 3ms, and this reverse power supply time is set to a value equal to or shorter than the time which is required to return the rotor 19 to the initial position independently of the force of a spring 8.
