PURPOSE: To form the main body of a glass sliding member and a lubricative coating film in the same step, by continuously extrusion forming the main body of said member into a form of predetermined cross section during the formation of the glass sliding member, and then applying a liquid lubricant onto its lip surface.

CONSTITUTION: A resin tape a2 is stuck onto a stainless steel strip a1 continuously sent out with predetermined width from an uncoiler 1, a liquid adhesive agent a3 is applied onto a necessary part other than the stuck part, dried and baked, and then the strip material is continuously bent into a form of approximately L-shaped cross section by a cold roll forming machine 5. The bent strip material is heated to reactivate the adhesive agent a3, and then soft PVC is adhesively extruded onto said strip material by an extruder 7 to form a weather strip material having a lip part L made into an integral body. After said forming, a liquid lubricant is applied onto the strip material by an applicator 8, dried and cooled.
