PURPOSE: To provide the light shieldable packaging material having good heat sealability, property to maintain strength of adhesiveness at a high temp. and good slipperiness by providing at least one layer of layers contg. a resin compsn. contg. an ethylene-copolymerized linear low-density polyethylene (LDPE) resin contg. α-olefin at a specific ratio, a polypropylene (PP) resin and carbon at specific ratios.

CONSTITUTION: The light shieldable packaging material of this invention has at least one layer of the layers of the resin compsn. contg. 95 to 65% ethylene- copolymerized linear LDPE resin contg. the α-olefin, 5 to 40% PP resin and 1 to 10% carbon. The impact strength of the resulted film is poor if the content of the α-olefin to be incorporated into the ethylene-copolymerized linear LDPE resin is ≤10%. The film having the compatibility with the PP resin and the uniform properties, such as strength, of the resulted film without fluctuations is obtd. if the content is about 15%. The α-olefin is preferably carbon atoms of 4-methyl pentene-1 or above.
