PURPOSE: To reproduce a horizontal video image even from an object picked up with a tilt by providing a 1st correction means deviating a start point of each scanning line in the horizontal direction in response to a camera tilt signal and a 2nd correction means tilting each scanning line to the device.
CONSTITUTION: A synchronizing separator circuit 22 separates an input signal into a horizontal synchronizing signal, a vertical synchronizing signal and a tilt signal T. Moreover, a horizontal deflection winding 25 is provided with a vertical deflection synchronization sawtooth wave generating circuit 27 synchronously with vertical deflection and outputting a sawtooth wave having an amplitude in response to the tilt signal T and with a horizontal component level (and polarity) control circuit 29 receiving an output of a horizontal deflection circuit 23 and the tilt signal T and outputting the amplitude in response to the tilt signal T and synchronously with the horizontal deflection signal from the vertical deflection winding 26, and with a magnified level control circuit 28 giving an amplitude magnified signal to the horizontal deflection circuit 23 and the vertical deflection circuit 24 based on the tilt signal T. Then the start point of each scanning line is deviated by a prescribed quantity each to make the horizontal line correctly horizontal on the screen. Thus, the object is displayed without being tilted.
