Title:
FLASH DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60195534
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To control light emission in accordance with a condition of an object to be photographed and the intention of picture drawing by emitting light in a simultaneous light emission mode by which plural flashes start the light emission simultaneously and are turned off simultaneously, and a sequential light emission mode by which the light is emitted successively by a prescribed timing and whose light emitting quantity is controlled, by a common circuit.

CONSTITUTION: During the first output state in a timing signal, a camera body V executes a photometry through a photographic lens with regard to a reflected light of an object to be photographed, illuminated by the light from a flash device and integrates its photometric value, and outputs a light emission stop signal, when its integral value goes to a prescribed level. In response to the second output state of the timing signal, the integral value is reset, and during the third output state, the reflected light of the object to be photographed being under a flash illumination is brought to a photometry again through a photographic lens, its photometric value is integrated, and when its integral value reaches a prescribed level, the light emitting signal is outputted again. As for an integral level for generating a stop signal, a level corresponding to a correct exposure quantity and a level corresponding to a correct exposure quantity are distributed so that a prescribed illumination ratio is obtained, at the time of a simultaneous light emission mode and at the time of a sequential light emission mode, respectively.
