PURPOSE: To take copy by one-touch operation and improve the operation efficiency by providing a platen with two original placing surfaces, and copying originals on those two original placing surfaces to one-side surfaces of two sheets of copying paper successively.

CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive body 11 is formed in a drum shape and has an electrostatic charging device 12, exposing device 13, developing device 14, transferring device 15, separating device 16, etc., at its circumference. The platen has two original placing surfaces, and originals on those two original placing surfaces are copied to one-side surfaces of two sheets of transfer paper to take copies by one-touch operation. Further, copy size is varied by moving a copy size setting piece 22. This constitution improves the efficiency of the copying operation.
