Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform transactions of plural items with one bankbook and one kind of machine, by permitting a transaction when the output of an item identification mark provided on a page of the bankbook and the output of a desired transaction item operated by the user coincide with each other. CONSTITUTION:When the user opens the bankbook and inserts it to a device which is not shown in the figure, a stripe on the cover is read, and for example, fixed deposit information is stored in the first storage part 821, and ordinary deposit information is stored in the second storage part 822. A page counter 81 outputs C1=1 and C2=0 for fixed deposit and outputs reverse outputs for ordinary deposit in accordance with read page information. When the user designates fixed or ordinary deposit, a signal is inputted to an AND circuit 83 or 84. If the opened page and designated deposit coincide with each other, the transaction of fixed or ordinary deposit is permitted through AND circuits 83 and 85, an OR circuit 87 or AND circuits 84 and 86, and an OR circuit 87; and if they do not coincide with each other, outputs of AND circuits 83 and 84 become (0) and are inverted through an OR circuit 88 by an inverter 89 to output a bankbook reinsertion signal. Consequently, transactions of two items are performed with one bankbook.
