PURPOSE: To enable the supply work to be fully automatized, by constituting a supply device so as to directionally discriminate long and short stud bolts, supplied from a feeder to a stud bolt tightening machine equipping a robot device, to be position aligned and carried out.
CONSTITUTION: A parts feeder 1, providing in its carry-out parts a linear feeder, provides an extruding mechanism which extrudes in a lateral direction a stud bolt 4a, carried out to an outlet part of this linear feeder, to be supplied to a conveying path 8. A dropping chute 17 in the end part of this conveying path 8 is connected to a direction discriminative position alignment mechanism 18. Then a robot device 32 is provided in an upper part of said mechanism 18 and a carry-out mechanism 26. Chucks 37, 37, which chuck the bolts 4a, 4a protruded from discharge ports 30, 30 of said mechanism 26, are provided on a Z-table 36, and this upper part provides a stud bolt tightening mechanism 38. In such way, full automatization can be promoted.
