Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of dust when a disk cartridge is loaded and unloaded, by adhering a sheet made of a soft material to a hub and sealing up a gap produced between the hub and a screen when the disk cartridge is removed. CONSTITUTION:A hole 10A is pierced through at the center of a sheet 10, and the hole 10A is connected to the outer circumference of a hub 5A. This sheet 10 can be easily made of synthetic resin. When the hub 5A is not revolved, the outer circumference of the sheet 10 hangs down by its empty weight and touches close to a screen 1C. Then the hub 5A is revolved when a rotary shaft 5B is revolved as shown by an arrow D. Thus the sheet 10 is separated from the screen 1C by the centrifugal force as shown by a dotted line. When a disk cartridge 2 is loaded and unloaded, the revolution of the hub 5A is stopped. Then the outer circumference of the sheet 10 hangs down to have a contact with the screen 1C when the cartridge 2 is removed. Therefore the flow-in of the outside air shown by an arrow C can be cut off.
