Title:
PELLETIZING METHOD OF MINIPELLET FOR SINTERING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5893830
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To rapidly manufacture minipellets for sintering, by mixing raw materials of fine powder and coarse grain having specified grain sizes and controlling them to specified grain size for granulating to suppress adhesion of fine raw materials to the inside of a pelletizer.

CONSTITUTION: Raw materials mainly having ≥1mm grain size are added to fine raw materials containing ≥0.2mm powder in ≥90wt%. Grain sizes are controlled in the ranges of 30wt%W70wt% of ≤0.1mm powder and ≤2.0 ratio, preferably <1.5 ratio in wt% of ≤0.1mm powders/wt% of ≥1mm grains, to pelletize them. In order that fine raw materials are easily adhered to the surfaces of nuclear raw materials and smooth rolling movements of nucleuses are ensured, the surfaces having large ruggedness and near spheroidal shape are preferable for the nuclear raw materials and return ores are better than ores. Thus, adhesive agents can be effectively reduced.
