Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce an installing area of a marine power generating apparatus without necessity of M-G by fixedly connecting and clutch-connecting a master shaft generator, a slave shaft generator, a generator driving engine and a normal service generator onto a shaft through a gear for accelerating the rotation of a main engine. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of a main propulsion engine 21 is accelerated via a gear 22, and a master shaft generator 23, a slave shaft generator 26, a generator driving engine 24 and a normal service generator 25 are coupled via flange-connections 27, 31 and clutch-connections 29, 30 onto a shaft. The connections 27, 29, 30, 31 of the engines and the generators are coupled or separated according to the rotation (during voyage) or stoppage (mooring) and a defect, a repair or an inspection state of the engine 21. In this manner, M-G is eliminated, and the installing area is saved. A load which is weak for noise is readily protected against the noise.
