Abstract:
PURPOSE: The titled composition, containing a polyester resin consisting of a specific acid component and a polyol component and an alkyl-etherified aminoformaldehyde resin, having improved processability and weather resistance, and capable of assuming improved coating film appearance.
CONSTITUTION: A composition containing (A) 95W70pts.wt. polyester resin consisting of (i) 80W30mol% isophthalic acid, 20W45mol% 4W12C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, 0'25mol% terephthalic acid and 0W5mol% tri- W polyfunctional polycarboxylic acid as an acid component and (ii) 92W100mol% neopentyl glycol and 0W 8mol% tri- W polyfunctional polyol and (B) 5W30pts.wt. alkyl-etherified aminoformaldehyde resin.
