Title:
HEAT-RESISTANT CAST STEEL WITH SUPERIOR CARBURIZATION RESISTANCE AND SUPERIOR CREEP RUPTURE STRENGTH AT HIGH TEMPERATURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5953662
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the titled heat-resistant cast steel most suitable for use as the material of a member for a high-temp. apparatus such as a reformer tube, by specifying the composition of Ni-Cr-Mn-N-W steel.

CONSTITUTION: This heat-resistant cast steel consistis of, by weight, 0.25W 0.75% C, ≤2.0% Si, 5W20% Mn, 20W30% Cr, 15W40% Ni, 0.01W0.40% N, 0.5W 3.0% W and the balance Fe. The steel may further contain 0.5W3.0% Cu and/or 0.01W1.0% Al. The steel can be provided with especially superior carburization resistance without deteriorating the creep rupture strength at high temp. as compared to a conventional HP material contg. W or the like.
