PURPOSE: To process tail residual yarns with certainty during the operation of a machine frame, by moving a blade body of a cutter device, driven with compressed air as a driving source and provided on a doffing bar of an auto-doffer between the working position and a nonworking position.
CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing tail residual yarns capable of holding a blade body 29 of a cutter device 26 at a position corresponding to a groove part 34 formed between a tail yarn winding part 4 and a regulation part 3 of a cutter body 5 at the point of time when a wound yarn is moved to the upper part of a bobbin (B), supplying compressed air from a connection part to move a piston 28 to the side of a spindle 6, protruding the blade body 29 to the working position of a crossover yarn 15 in the groove part 34, making the cut tail yarn fly and processing the tail yarn with a suction cleaner.
