Title:
ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE TRANSPARENT PAINT STABLE TO MOISTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59122561
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the titled paint for the coating of a vessel for the storage of IC, etc., capable of forming a coating film having excellent transparency, electrical conductivity and antistaticity, by using a specific amount of electrically conductiv fine powder composed of antimony and tin oxide having specific particle diameter a film-forming resin and a specific solvent as main component.

CONSTITUTION: The objective paint is prepared by compounding (A) 5W95wt% of electrically conductive fine powder having an average particle diameter of ≤0.4μm and composed of (i) 0.1W20wt% of antimony and (ii) the rest part of tin oxide, with (B) 95W10wt% of a resin which is a main film-forming component, and (C) 100W2,000pts.wt. (based on 100pts.wt. of the sum of the components A and B) of a solvent containing ≥20wt% of a solvent which dissolves ≥3% of water (e.g. methyl ethyl ketone).

USE: Antistatic treatment of electronic or electrical parts and building material, etc., and an electrically conductive paint for prevention of electromagnetic wave disturbance.
