Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the durability of the catalyst by incorporating 0.01W10wt% SiO2 to a catalyst comprising Fe and Cr.
CONSTITUTION: 0.01W10wt% Si compd. such as colloidal silica, sodium silicate, magnesium silicate, nickel silicate, etc. expressed in terms of SiO2 basing on the total weight of calcined product is added to a compsn. consisting of Fe2O3 and Cr2O3 in 1:(0.01W0.1) by weight ratio as the compsn. of the calcined product, and compounded. The compounded product is heat-treated at ≤700°C.
