PURPOSE: To produce a bushing for fiber forming at a high density with high reliability by placing washer plates on a bottom plate, matching the mutual holes, fitting nozzle elements in the holes, and heating and welding these thereby enabling sure welding of the entire nozzle element.

CONSTITUTION: Holes 11 are preliminarily opened at a high density in a bottom plate 10 of a bushing made of platinum rhodium for fiber forming. Plates of platinum opened with holes 12 at the intervals conforming to the intervals of the holes 11 provided to the plate 10 are formed to divide the holes of the plate 10 by blocks 13 of every prescribed number and to the sizes conforming to the blocks 13, whereby washer plates 14 are formed. The plate 10, the plates 14 and nozzle elements 15 are assembled in such a way that the plate 10 and the plates 14 are mated to match the mutual holes 11, 12 and that the neck parts 16 of the elements 15 are fitted into the holes 11, 12. The top surfaces of the elements 15 are caulked. The assembly in this state is put in a gas furnace and is heated. The plates 14 melt to weld the plate 10 and the elements 15. The center of each element 15 is punched to form a nozzle, whereby the bushing for fiber forming is completed.
