Title:
SOLAR BATTERY MODULE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59130486
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the crack of elements and prevent the exfoliation, etc. of lead wires by eliminating the re-diffusion of solder by a method wherein electrodes of solar battery elements to be made modular are formed in ?-shape so that the lead wire of the photo receiving surface and the lead wire of the back surface hold the elements therebetween and do not superpose above and below them at the time of connection. CONSTITUTION:The electrodes are provided on the surface of the solar battery element 1 in ?- shape, thus constructing so that the lead wires do not superpose on the front and back of the element 1 in connecting the lead wires 3, and then the solar battery elements are made modular in plurality connection. The electrode (a) to which the lead wire 3 of the photo receiving surface of each element 1 is soldered and the lead soldered electrode (b) of the back surface are not superposed on each other. Therefore, since the thickness due to the lead wire 3 does not also become thick above and below at the same part of the element, the phenomenon of cracking owing to the partial concentration of outer force does not occur also at the time of manufacturing a laminated system module package using a PVF or a EVA resin. Further, the photo receiving surface electrode (a) and the back electrode (b) hold the solar battery element 1 therebetween, and do not superpose above and below it. Accordingly, the phenomenon that the solder welding the lead wire 3 to the photo receiving electrode are re-fused by the heat of a soldering iron and becomes a projection does not occur when soldering the lead wire 3 to the back electrode.
