Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the nonuniformity of strength, by providing spoke insertion holes in a part of a plate so that load is carried not only by welded portions.
CONSTITUTION: The butts 2a, 3a of spokes 2, 3 are welded while being inserted in spoke holes 6, 7, so that the load upon the spokes is carried not only by the welded portions but also by the other portions in the spoke holes 6, 7. For that reason, the quality of the welding does not much affect the strength of a metal core, and no special control is needed for the welding. In addition, the welded portions are protected from the load upon the spokes 2, 3.
