PURPOSE: To provide a ring for a spinning frame, having excellent abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance, and capable of keeping the quality of the spun yarn by its long life and stable spinning performance, by making at least the flange part of the ring with a ceramic.

CONSTITUTION: At least the flange part 1 of a ring having the flange part 1, the neck part, the body part 3 and the ring-rail insertion part 2 as essential components, is made of a ceramic. For example, a raw material composed of silicon carbide is cast and fired at a high temperature to obtain the flange part 1. The body part 3 including the ring-rail insertion part 2 other than the flange part 1 is made of carbon steel or a light alloy. The flange part 1 is bonded to the body part 3 with an adhesive, etc. to obtain the objective ring 4 for a spinning frame.
