PURPOSE: To stabilize a formed dye image under light illumination and to give superior light fading prevention effect by using at least two kinds of specified compds. for an image receiving element.
CONSTITUTION: An image receiving element to be laminated on a heat transfer element contg. a heat-transferable dye donor at the time of heat transfer contains a combination of at least one of compds. represented by formulae I WIII, and a compd. represented by formula IV. In said formulae I WIV, each of R1, R1', R3, R3', R5 is H, an aliphatic, aromatic, heterocyclic, acyl, alkylsulfonyl, arylsulfonyl group, or the like; each of R2, R4, R4', R6, R7 is H, halogen, or a univalent org. group; each of (l), (q) is 1W4; (p) is 1W3; each of R8WR10 is H, halogen, or an aliphatic, heterocyclic, acyl, alkylsulfonyl, arylsulfonyl group, or the like; and each of (a), (b), (c) is 1W4. The use of the combination of these compds. can prevent both of light fading acceleration effect and dark fading acceleration effect presumably caused by the subsidiary reaction by either of them, and the compds. of formulae I WIII can greatly enhance the deficient light fading prevention effect of the compd. of formula IV in the presence of the compd. of formula IV.
