Title:
FORMATION OF COUPLER FOR CONTINUOUS UNDERGROUND WALL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5934327
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To economically construct a continuous underground wall having high resistances to earthquake and water by a method in which joint pipes are erected under the guidance of paired partition steel plates provided by crossing them with the cross iron bars of the iron bar cage for a preceding wall, and then concrete is placed.

CONSTITUTION: An iron bar cage 2 for a preceding wall is set in a trench 1, a joint pipe 7 is erected under the guidance of partition steel plates 6, and then a pressure-receiving block 42 is inserted between an interlocking pipe 41 erected at the end of the trench 1 and the joint pipe 7. Concrete 5 for the preceding wall is placed and hardened, and then the interlocking pipe 41 and the pressure- receiving block 42 are pulled out. The tip 81 of the iron bar cage 8 for the following wall is penetrated into a recess 76 in the trench 1 for constructing the following wall, and then concrete for the following wall is placed.
