PURPOSE: To prevent corrosion of the condenser by a method wherein in the case of the condenser for a thermoelectric power plant, a condensed water distributor which allows condensed water from a plurality of sections to flow in at a high speed and a baffle plate for changing the direction of a jet stream of the condensed water are provided in a secondary hot well.
CONSTITUTION: The condensed water stored in a primary hot well 23a from a cooling water pipe group 22 is flowed out into a circulation pipe 26 by a circulation pump 27. Then, after the condensed water is purified by a condensed water demineralization device 28, an air extracting device 29 and a ground vapor condenser 30, it enters the condensed water distributor 36 from an inlet seat 35 and jets out into the secondary hot well 23b through throughholes 37 at a comparatively high speed. The jet stream of the condensed water runs against a partition plate 24 and the baffle plate 38 to turn its direction so that the condensed water in the secondary hot well 23b moves turbulently to thereby prevent the staying of the condensed water. Thus it is possible to prevent effectively the generation of corrosion in the secondary hot well.
