PURPOSE: To improve uniformity of characteristic of a plurality of electro- magnetic conversion surface and make easy manufacture and assembling by forming the electro-magnetic conversion surface of stator with a thin film metal resistance body and giving a wider surface thereto than the electro-magnetic conversion surface of rotor.
CONSTITUTION: In case a signal is input from a rotor, a current flows as an electrical signal into an electro-magnetic induction coil 3 of rotor connected to the signal generator and a magnetic field is generated between the coil and stator 4 through a rotor 2 made of magnetic material. A current is generated by electromagnetic induction effect on the stator electromagnetic induction thin film metal resistance body 5 by the influence of such magnetic field and the signal is sent to the side of stator 6 as an electrical signal through non-contact way. In this case, intensity of magnetic field and transmission efficiency are determined by the opposing area of electromagnetic conversion surface of air gap 7, rotor 2 and stator 4, and the characteristic thereof is determined only by the opposing area in the side of rotor 2 by making wider the electromagnetic conversion surface of stator 4 by several tens of micron than the electromagnetic conversion surface of rotor 2.
