Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable shortening of a communication period for communication with the outside such as a center and an execution of an input operation and an output operation independently by constituting in such a way that an input unit can be separated from an output unit and can be coupled with the output unit. CONSTITUTION:A unit main body including an input unit 3 and an output unit 2 is constituted in such a way that the input unit 3 can be separated from the output unit and coupled with the output unit. In data processing, data inputted to the unit 3 are first stored in a memory 34. Then the unit 3 is coupled with the unit 2, and data of one transaction in the memory 34 is transmitted to a host computer 5 through a telephone set 4a, etc. Thus a center computer 5 executes the prescribed data processing and returns transaction data through a telephone line. Receiving this, the unit 2 stores them in a bubble memory 24. Thus transaction data is not printed instantaneously but printed after reception telegrams with respect to the entire transmission telegram are received and stored in the memory 24; therefore a communication period can be shortened and an input operation can be executed independent of an output operation.
