Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a power transfer device, used in toy cars, which generates an output of a low speed high torque through automatic variation of a reduction ratio even if a load torque is increased, and automatically ascends a steep slope and lifts a heavy good without manual switching operation, by a method wherein a non-reversing mechanism is mounted, and a synchronizing pinion shaft is supported in a floating manner to be energized by means of a spring. CONSTITUTION:A planetary gear mechanism is formed with a sun gear 8, a planetary gear 18, and an inner tooth gear 15, the sun gear 8 is formed integrally with a first outer tooth gear 9 engaging with the pinion 19 of a motor 4, and a second outer tooth gear 16 is formed integrally with the inner tooth gear 15. Pinions 21 and 22, mating with the outer tooth gears 9 and 16, are secured to a single shaft 20 to form a synchronizing pinion shaft 23. The synchronizing pinion shaft 23 is supported in a floating manner so that it can be disengaged from either the pinions 21 or 22, and is energized in an engaging direction through the force of a spring 28. A non-reversing mechanism 29, which prevents the rotation of a reverse torque in relation with a reverse torque in an opposite direction to that of an input torque from the motor 4, is attached to the outer tooth gear 16.
