Abstract:
PURPOSE:To control bearing oil temp. into an optimum level even at the time of rapid starting by setting the bearing oil temp. at the time of turning to a higher value on the basis of the pre-specified rate of speed rise calculated from the condition of main steam and turbine before starting. CONSTITUTION:Bearing oil is supplied to a turbine bearing 11 from an oil tank 13 through a cooling device 14. The oil supply temp. is adjusted by a tem. adjuster 18, into which signals from a temp. measuring instrument 17 is fed, under control of a control valve 16. The signal of pre-specified rate of speed rise 50 is calculated by a calculator 49 on the basis of signals given by No.1 stage casing internal surface metal temp. sensor 41, a main steam temp. sensor 42 and a main steam pressure sensor 43, and if the pre-specified rate of speed rise is larger than the limit rate of speed rise, a setting device selection signal 52 is sent to a selector 53, which shall serve for selection of the temp. setting device 55 on which the temp. T1+beta has been set.
