Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a multipurpose balanced valve not required of adjustment to operation pressure, by using a diaphragm to divide adjusting chambers from each other, connecting the chambers to the inlet and outlet ports of a fluid passage, and causing the diaphragm to operate a relief valve on the side of load. CONSTITUTION:Recesses are provided on the central portions of the facing sides of valve casing members 1, 1'. A diaphragm 2 is fitted in the recesses so that an inlet-side and a load-side adjusting chambers 3, 3' are defined. Fluid passages 4, 4' are provided in such a manner that they extend through the valve casing members 1, 1'. A spherical valve element 6 is placed in the passages 4, 4' and urged by a spring 5. The passage 4 and the inlet-side adjusting chamber 3 are connected to each other. A slight leak plug 8 is screwed at the halfway part of a passage 7 for communication between the passage 4 and tge inlet-side adjusting chamber 3. The load-side adjusting chamber 3' communicates with the fluid passage 4' at 9 and with a discharge passage 10. A valve element 11 for opening/closing the discharge passage 10 is coupled to the diaphragm 2. According to this constitution, a load side whose pressure fluctuates is automatically set at the same pressure as an input side.
