PURPOSE: To provide a termite-controlling agent for wood and various organic substances, and composed of N,N-dimethyl-N'-phenyl-(N'-fluorodichloromethylthio)-sulfamide which has excellent thermal stability and is hardly extractable with water.

CONSTITUTION: N,N-Dimethyl-N'-phenyl-( N'-fluorodichloromethylthio )-sulfamide is dissolved in various organic solvents, and is used to keep the wood, etc. from the damage of termite. About 0.1W10pts.wt. of the termite-controlling agent is compounded to 100pts.wt. of an organic polymer such as plasticized polyvinyl chloride, ethylene-vinyl acetate-chlorinated graft copolymer, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer, ethylene-propylene copolymer, etc., and the composition is used suitably as wire coating, sheet, pipe, building materials, etc.
