PURPOSE: To obtain a semiconductive composition of large dielectric constant suitable for electric field relaxation, by incorporating polymeric material for electrical use with a semiconductive electric charge transfer complex composed of tetracyanoquinodimethane and specific cation.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating ( I ) 100pts.wt. of a polymeric material for electrical use with (II) 1W40 (pref. 5W 40)pts.wt. of a semiconductive electric charge transfer complex composed of (A) 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane and (B) a cation selected from pyridinium cation, quinolinium cation, phenazinium cation, acridinium cation, phenanthrolium cation, benzothiazolium cation, benzimidazolium cation, tetrathiafulvalene, piperazinium cation, phosphonium cation, arsonium cation, ammonium cation and cyan coloring matter cation.
