PURPOSE: To improve the printing speed of a printing out unit as a whole by manually inserting a printing paper into the print out unit before a manual insertion command comes from an electronic computer to relieve an operator of his burden.
CONSTITUTION: When a print out unit body 1 performs a printing feeding a paper from a cassette while no manual insertion command comes from an electronic computer body, upon the manual insertion of a printing paper, an insertion detecting switch 18 for manual insertion papers turns ON. A microcomputer recognizing this feeds the tip of a printing paper 20 to the position P in noway blocking the passage of the printing paper from the cassette. Under such a condition, when a manual insertion command is provided from the electronic computer body, with the microcomputer, after the feeding of the paper from the cassette is interrupted, a manual insertion printing paper take-in roller 17 is rotated to take in a manual insertion printing paper 20, which is fed between a photosensitive drum 10 and a peeling transfer unit 11 with a feed roller 9 to print.
