Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable smooth recovery of used cleaning balls by providing semi- annular members in a tubular body and extending an arresting net in the semi- annular members.
CONSTITUTION: In a case where cleaning balls from which impurities adhering to the cooling fine tube of a heat exchanger are stripped off and cleaned are recovered, a driving device 28 is driven and both semi-annular members 26a and 26b are opened outwardly. Spongy cleaning balls S mixed into the cooling water are recovered through the arresting net 27 and the arresting tube 23, and discharged through a ball pick-up port 22 of the arresting tube 23. Accordingly, the used cleaning balls S can be smoothly recoverd.
