PURPOSE: To transport the recording member having a variety of size in stable manner without using a complicate suction selecting mechanism, by installing a control member which can be shifted in the direction crossing at right angle with the transport direction of the recording member by a conveyor belt and selectively closes the prescribed opened port part of a plane shaped member.
CONSTITUTION: Control members 10-13 can be shifted in the direction crossing at right angle with the transport direction of a conveyor belt 1, and selectively closes the prescribed opened port part 7UH of a plane shaped member (platen) 7. Accordingly, the need of fine dividing in the width direction is obviated, and it is enough to keep the suction force by suction means (suction tube) 20a-20f to be small.
