Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent various component parts from inferiorly radiating heat, by arranging a resistor in parallel to a thermoswitch, in a circuit in which the thermoswitch is connected in series to a radiator motor fan so that the motor fan is rotated at a low speed when the thermoswitch is turned off. CONSTITUTION:A radiator 1 is provided thereto with a fan 3 driven by a motor 2 and a thermoswitch which is turned on and off in association with the temperature of cooling water flowing through the radiator 1. The switch 4 energizes the motor 2 to rotate the fan 3 when the temperature of the cooling water in the radiator 1 rises to a predetermined value. In the arrangement mentioned above, in the circuit in which the thermoswitch 4 is connected in seried to the motor 2, a resistor 5 is connected in parallel to the thermoswitch 4 so that the motor 2 is energized to rotate at a low speed by means of the resistor 5 even when the thermoswitch 4 is turned off. With this arrangement, the fan 3 may be prevented from providing a flow resistance to air introduced into an engine compartment, thereby the desired purpose is attained.
